Unless you've been living under a rock the past few weeks, you've likely been hearing about Susan Boyle everywhere you turn. The world is abuzz about this story of a phenomenal 47 year-old Scottish woman who shocked everyone by singing the song "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables on the TV talent competition show Britain's Got Talent. And for good reason - This woman can sing!
The whole thing is an inspiring underdog story about an older woman, who despite admitting to never being kissed, has won over the entire world with her amazing talents. Thank you Susan Boyle for teaching us all that we can in fact do anything we want to and that it's never too late to chase your dreams. Not only that, Susan Boyle has maybe even taught some people about themselves and how you should never judge a book by its cover. The people who were laughing at her before she even started were proven wrong, and they should be ashamed of themselves. We're all human beings.
